FAQ
How often should I get a haircut?
-It depends on your hair goals, texture, and how much you're trying to maintain your shape. For most guests, a trim every 8–12 weeks is a great starting point. If you're growing your hair, we can customize your maintenance schedule to keep your ends healthy without sacrificing your length.
Basically: your hair doesn't necessarily need a dramatic chop every time you visit us. 😉
Does a blowout come with a haircut?
-Yes! A haircut can be paired with a professional blowout and finish so you can actually see your new shape styled and ready to wear.
Do you offer blowouts and styling?
-Yes! Our blowouts and styling services are perfect for everything from your weekly reset to date night, girls' night, events, photoshoots, and those occasions where your hair simply needs to behave.
Can I bring a photo of the haircut or style I want?
-Please do! Inspiration photos are incredibly helpful. We'll look at the photo together and talk through what will work best with your hair's length, density, texture, and maintenance level. Please know if you bring in AI photos we will talk about what you like and dislike about the photo but real like doesn't look like AI, so there will be texture and flyaways.
How should I prepare of a styling or updo?
-Def bring 1-2 inspiration photos of hair that is similar in length and color as your own. You will want to wear a zip-up or button down...hoodies and collars are not the best as they can rub on the hair and cause frizz or fall out. Please come in with clean hair, washed either the night before or morning of, blow the hair out smooth and don't use any hot tools (please don't come with wet or damp hair). You can use minimal to no product. For curly textures, wash and style your hair at least 1 day ahead.
Bring any hair pieces and/or extensions. We do color match and sell clip-in extensions that are high quality as well! Or of course you can feel free to bring your own.
Do you charge a travel fee for on location services?
-We do! We get this question a lot, especially for local clients in Hoboken & Jersey City. Unfortunately, our team doesn't live in the salon. So they either drive or take public transportation and they are paying tolls, parking, gas all to get to you. Not to mention their time on the road to and from your desired location, and we all know what sitting in traffic is like...that's their time.
